Today is the 100th day of the year 2024, which marks a node in this year.
Website Optimization#
Today, the website's DNS server was moved to Cloudflare, and some free optimization features were tried.
The front end of this blog is deployed using Vercel's Serverless. After migrating the DNS server to Cloudflare, the site cannot be accessed, showing "too many redirects." To solve this problem, adjustments need to be made in the Cloudflare Dashboard. Go to SSL/TLS -> Overview interface, then adjust the encryption mode to Full (Strict) to resolve this issue.
According to tutorials online, an attempt was made to create a free Cloudflare R2 storage as a free image hosting service. However, for some reason, its effect is not as good as the public image hosting service I used before, so I will not temporarily migrate to this new self-hosted image hosting service.
At the same time, to avoid some risks, I manually blocked visits from China.
In addition, the source code of the front-end theme of this blog is forked from Teacher Innei, and has been relying on Sync Fork for automatic updates. However, since April 4th, the Github platform has been constantly reminding me that my fork cannot be Auto Merged. To solve this problem, after backing up the original modified code, I discarded all my commits on Github and updated, then re-imported my modified code.
School Life#
Recent courses have become much more difficult. Mechanisms & Machine Theory just started a few weeks ago, but it already requires me to spend a lot of time to understand the course content. Systems Engineering just passed the headache-inducing System Modeling, and is now teaching the tedious Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method. I hope to achieve a decent grade in the professional courses this semester.
In May, I will participate in the TOEFL exam and am currently busy preparing for it. I am also doing some basic preparation for paper publication in the second half of the year. I will enter my junior year in the second half of the year, move to another campus, and officially prepare for the GRE. I really can't spare a moment.
