風結ぶ言葉たち

Slacking off, and slacking off on April 22, 2024

Today is Monday. I was supposed to have two classes in the morning, but I exempted from the English class, and the Physical Education class was for another group's competition, so I didn't actually have any classes in the morning. I happily slept in until after one in the afternoon, then got up to cook a bowl of instant noodles before heading to the Marxism class.

During the class, I played around with two new toys. One is a file converter that helps me quickly convert file formats. The other is freegpt, which extracts the api-key from the web version of chatgpt to use gpt-3.5 for free. I don't plan to make this public due to OpenAI's usage/request restrictions.

I particularly enjoyed listening to the song "滔滔" by No Party for Cao Dong today. Taiwanese is very interesting, but I still haven't learned much of it.

Dinner was once again noodles that I cooked myself, but not instant noodles, more like a type of hand-pulled noodles. The taste was good, and the price was very reasonable. Besides noodles, I also made myself a cup of milk tea, which tasted good as well. I truly am a little genius in the kitchen.

After dinner, I intermittently completed the homework for Mechanisms & Machine Theory, which was quite torturous because solving the problems required not only applying formulas but also precise plotting. Unable to bear it halfway through, I chose to slack off, went downstairs for a walk, and bought a pack of cigarettes—usually, I would go to a convenience store in Xijie, a kilometer away to buy cigarettes, but today I didn't feel like going that far, so I went to the supermarket across from the school gate and luckily found out that they also sell cigarettes, which will be much more convenient in the future.

Tomorrow, I have classes from eight in the morning until four in the afternoon. If I have time afterwards, I plan to start writing the fifth piece of memories of the 2023 National Day holiday. This piece will contain some sensitive content, so it will remain encrypted.

Springtime in Chongqing is always like this, sometimes scorching sun with temperatures rising to over thirty degrees Celsius, and sometimes several days of continuous rain, chilling winds, without a glimpse of sunlight. Under such emotional influence, my mood is always not good, hoping that spring will pass quickly, and even though summer is hot, seeing the sunlight will probably lift my spirits.

I really want to be close to someone.
